Emotions poem

Joy
Joy is multicoloured neon field of flowers.
Joy tastes lis kiwi fruit pavlova.
Joy smells like a tall beautiful sun flower.
Joy looks like children playing with a skipping rope.
Joy sounds like the happy screams of children.
Joy is happiness.

Love
Love is a heart warming red.
Love tastes like dark chocolate mealting in your mouth.
Love smells like a field of roses.
Love looks like a warm, heart.
Love sounds like the cry of a new born baby.
Love is beautiful.

bio poem

Gary
Child of Jakob and Kobie.
Who loves playing impressive soccer, friends at my place and my cat.
Who hates wrinkly old people, moldy mushrooms and juicy tomatoes.
Who wants to go to Disney world in U.S.A.
Who wishes he could've met great musician Michael Jackson.
Who is scared of bloody sharks, hairy spiders and scaly Poisoness snakes.
Who dreams of winning the lotto.
Who is determined to have a happy, healthy life.
Who values a great life, a loving mum and dad.
Who is proud of all my certificates.
Who lives in Morrinsvile New Zealand.

Science fair reflection

During my science fair I learnt how to make a fair test using variables and 3 tests. My most challenging aspect of the science fair was testing because I had to measure 12 directions every hour from 8:30-4:30. I am most proud of my presentation because I couldn't  print at home. Next time I would do the tests on different days.

Quick Write

Between the sound of cheering I hear the guy behind me yelling over the sound of the crowd. I feel a slight grin growing but the pain between my legs hurts to much to smile. I see the crowd and then the sky hoping victory is mine. I think I’ll come second until I hear “winner”.

I wonder with suspense if I'll get gold?
